Nova

Trustee / Morgan’s Nanna

Intro: I am involved in Morgan’s Army to ensure Morgan’s legacy lives on and that his memory continues to be honoured through the work of the charity.

Background & Experience: I currently work as the Area Administrator for the Llwchwr Ministry Area within the Church in Wales. Before this, I was a licensee for over 30 years, managing teams, organising staff, and overseeing busy establishments. These roles gave me valuable experience in leadership, organisation, and working with people, which I now bring to my role as a trustee.

Why Morgan’s Army: Morgan was my beloved grandson, and it is an honour to work alongside the other trustees to ensure his legacy continues to grow. I am passionate about fundraising and enjoy supporting and taking part in the events organised in Morgan’s name. I have even been inspired to run half marathons and climb mountains in his memory.

Outside Morgan’s Army: I am the mother of four and enjoy socialising, travelling, running and occasionally going to the gym.

Rachel

Trustee

Intro: I am a committed trustee with a strong background in people-focused roles, community engagement, and fundraising.

Background & Experience: Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of customer-facing and community-based roles where communication, organisation and relationship building have been central. I have also been actively involved in fundraising, event support and networking through organisations such as BNI, helping to raise awareness and vital funds for charitable causes.

Why Morgan’s Army: I first met Morgan and the Ridler family while working as their post lady for Royal Mail, and we quickly became close friends. Through that connection, I saw firsthand the challenges faced by families affected by childhood cancer and the importance of compassionate, practical support. Morgan’s Army represents hope, strength and kindness, and I am proud to be involved in helping families feel they are not alone.

Outside Morgan’s Army: I am married with two sons and enjoy spending time with my family. I also have a passion for cooking and baking, and have recently discovered a love for swimming.

Intro: I bring more than 23 years of experience in sales and marketing and currently work as a Strategic Account Manager for a multinational capital equipment company.

Background & Experience: In my professional role, I manage five of the organisation’s largest accounts across the UK and Ireland, focusing on long-term partnerships, strategic growth and delivering value. I have extensive experience across sales, marketing, leadership and project execution and enjoy building strong networks and finding better ways of working.

Why Morgan’s Army: My connection with Morgan’s Army began when I was one of the 7,000 vehicles that took part in Morgan’s convoy shortly before he passed away. During the convoy, I met Matt and a friendship quickly formed. Through my role as Co-Founder of Supercar Club Wales, we have been able to support Morgan’s Army through car-related events and experiences, including Morgstone. Being able to help bring smiles to families going through difficult times means a great deal to me.

Outside Morgan’s Army: Family time is incredibly important to me. I am passionate about cars, motorsport and rugby, and I enjoy organising events and sharing experiences with fellow members of Supercar Club Wales.

Why Morgan’s Army: I had followed the charity from the beginning and admired how it brought the community together to support families. I had volunteered at several events and seen first-hand the positive impact they were having. When the opportunity to become a trustee arose, I knew it was something I wanted to be part of and contribute to.
